John Crowder served on Horizon U’s Board of Trustees this past year and has three decades of Christian higher education experience. He most recently served Crossroads Bible College and the College of Biblical Studies in positions including Enrollment Dean, Director of Recruiting, Director of Church Partnerships and Adjunct Faculty. Previously, John was an Area Director and on-campus staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

John holds an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman University. John had this to say about his new role: “I’m humbled by the task ahead but know I love biblical higher education and feel really good as I’ve come to know others on the leadership team and the students.
